1. Who provides Coin Finder

Coin Finder is provided by Ads Station Ltd, 152, Office 9, Triq In Naxxar, San Gwann, SGN 9030, Malta ("Ads Station", "we", "us" or "our"). Contact: contact@coin-find.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. You may not use Coin Finder where prohibited by law.

3. The Coin Finder service

Coin Finder can analyse photos of both sides of a coin; suggest a likely identification with a match score; display information about the coin, such as its country, year, denomination, composition and background; provide an indicative value estimate, an estimated condition grade and a rarity level when available; and allow you to save scanned coins to a personal collection.

Analysing a coin requires an internet connection. Your collection and its photos are stored on your device. We do not keep a copy of your collection, so we cannot restore it if you delete the app, erase its data or change device.

Features may vary by platform, country, app version and subscription. We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of the service where reasonably necessary.

4. Identification and valuation limits

Identifications are suggestions

Coin Finder relies on automated image analysis by artificial intelligence. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate or misleading, for example because of wear, lighting or photo quality, or because many coins, varieties and counterfeits look alike. Coin Finder does not authenticate coins and does not replace examination by a qualified numismatist or a professional grading service.

Values, grades and rarity levels are estimates only

Any value or range shown in Coin Finder is a general, photo-based estimate generated by AI, not an appraisal, offer, guarantee or recommendation to buy, sell or insure. Grades and rarity levels are estimates of the same kind. Actual value may differ materially based on authenticity, exact variety, mint mark, condition, cleaning or damage, metal prices, certification, provenance and market demand.

You are responsible for independently verifying a coin and its value before making financial, collecting or legal decisions.

5. Free scan, subscriptions and billing

What is free and what requires a subscription

Coin Finder is free to download. Each user can make one free scan, which shows the identification and details of the coin. The estimated value, grade and rarity of that coin are not included in the free scan. Any further use of the app, including additional scans, full results and the collection, requires an active subscription.

Plans, prices and free trial

Premium access is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions: a weekly plan, which may start with a free trial for new subscribers, and an annual plan. The price, any free trial, the billing period and the included features are displayed in the app before purchase. Prices may vary by country and may include taxes.

If a plan starts with a free trial, you are not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, the subscription then starts automatically and the price displayed is charged to your store account.

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account, and subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, or within the timeframe shown by that store. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

When you cancel, you keep premium access until the end of the period already paid for. If you reinstall the app or change device, use "Restore purchases" in the app to recover an active subscription.

Refunds and store terms

Billing issues, cancellations and refunds are subject to the rules of the store through which you subscribed. To the extent store terms conflict with this section, the applicable store terms govern the transaction. Nothing in this section limits the withdrawal or refund rights you may have under mandatory consumer law.

Where Coin Finder is downloaded through Apple, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

6. Your photos and content

You retain your rights in the photos and other content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, transmit, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve Coin Finder and fulfil legal obligations.

You must have the right to submit the content and must not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful or privacy-invasive material. Do not include faces, documents, location details or other personal information that is unnecessary for coin identification.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

• use Coin Finder in violation of law or third-party rights;
• interfere with, overload, probe or attempt to bypass service security;
• reverse engineer, scrape, resell or exploit the service except where law expressly permits;
• use automated means to access the service without our permission;
• upload malicious code or content; or
• misrepresent Coin Finder results as certified professional findings.

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or third parties, or where these Terms are materially breached.

8. Intellectual property

Coin Finder, its software, design, text, graphics, databases, trademarks and other service content are owned by Ads Station Ltd or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use Coin Finder for personal, lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Third-party services

Coin Finder may rely on or link to third-party services, including app stores, AI or cloud providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. We do not control third-party availability or content.

10. Availability and warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coin Finder is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every identification, description or estimate will be accurate or suitable for your purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ads Station Ltd and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, collections or opportunities arising from use of Coin Finder.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to Coin Finder will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms for future use of Coin Finder. We will post the revised version and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice where required. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using Coin Finder and cancel any subscription before its next renewal.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Malta have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law allows you to bring a claim in your country of residence or provides stronger protections. European consumers retain the mandatory rights available under the law of their habitual residence.

14. General provisions

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer our rights and obligations while respecting applicable law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any store-specific terms, form the agreement concerning your use of Coin Finder.
